I’ve spent most of my life obsessed with music & sound.
Producing, composing, arranging and performing music is where I started and while searching for tones, recording, mixing, repairing and fixing my own sound I have managed to find success in many areas of the industry.
I began seriously studying guitar and music at the age of 13 - I was accepted into a summer guitar program at Berkeley College of Music which solidified my love for the craft. I then set my sights on a jazz degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. having learned theory and gained experience playing around the area I decided to study the production side of music at the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. It was there that I was exposed to many other facets the industry such as live sound and audio for picture.
After graduating I relocated to NYC where I was afforded an opportunity at Flux Studios in the LES where I assisted well establish recording/mix engineer Fab Dupont & Daniel Sanint. While working at Flux I became a house engineer and had the opportunity to work with many of Flux’s amazing clients.
I am currently the Senior Audio Engineer at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn NY. A world-class facility where I oversee audio for all events in the arena.
Mike is also a member of Sway Parade Productions
and the NYC-based alternative group Downaman
